This year we are proud to announce our keynote speaker, Lee Gelernt, Deputy Director of the national ACLU Immigrants’ Rights Project. Gelernt is currently litigating a national class action lawsuit involving the Trump administration’s unprecedented practice of separating immigrant families at the border; he also successfully argued the first case challenging Trump’s Muslim travel ban.

Hors d'ouevres and a cash bar will be provided.

The ACLU of New Mexico continues to fight to ensure that all New Mexicans are protected from discrimination and civil rights abuses. 
 
It's particularly important that we provide a space for our state's border communities to be able to share with us their stories and concerns about life in a region that is consistently under attack by the Trump administration. These community meetings will serve as listening sessions for us to hear from you about what next steps you hope the ACLU of New Mexico will take in protecting and supporting border communities. 
 
Our expectation is that these community meetings will be a productive way for us to hear what you have to say in order to best shape our advocacy strategy for the future. We hope you can join us!
