Days after his son’s death, Nadeem went to the cemetery to pray. A security guard – who took issue with him reciting from the Qur’an – tried to force him to leave, stomped on his son's grave, and threatened him with physical violence. We filed a human rights complaint because this kind of cruelty and discrimination have no place in our state.
