Kari serves as the Manager of People Operations at the ACLU of NM. She found her way into HR in 2015 while working at a small arts non-profit. Prior to joining the ACLU, she ran a consulting company to support small businesses and non-profits in building out their people operations processes and programs. She holds a B.S. in ecology from Evergreen State College.
Outside of her work with the ACLU, Kari enjoys aerial dance, visual arts, and getting into nature. She serves on the board of directors for La Montañita Co-op and fosters shelter dogs.
