Immigrant Rights Organizations Sue CoreCivic and Torrance County for Chemical Attack on Asylum-Seekers Engaged in Peaceful Hunger Strike at Torrance County Detention Facility

The ACLU of New Mexico and the New Mexico Immigrant Law Center (NMILC) today filed a lawsuit on behalf of nine asylum-seekers formerly detained at the Torrance County Detention Facility who were attacked with pepper spray for engaging in a peaceful hunger strike.
