This is your source for information on People Power in New Mexico. The ACLU in New Mexico has been working with local officials and allies for many years to make our region one of the most welcoming to immigrants and refugees; however, law enforcement policies vary from city to city and county to county. This page provides some details about communities that have adopted policies that resist Trump’s mass deportation agenda as well as resources for adding your hometown to the list.

In response to extensive feedback we've gotten from People Power participants across New Mexico, we are providing guidance on two ways to advance the mission of the ACLU of New Mexico. Below you will find resources and information you can use to resist President Trump’s deportation force in New Mexico and for Albuquerque residents, how you can help reform the Albuqerque Police Department.
