Join the ACLU of New Mexico and the All Safe New Mexico Coalition for a town hall on harmful bills expected in the 2026 legislative session–and the real solutions our communities deserve. Proposed expansions of involuntary commitment and forced relocations threaten New Mexicans who need housing and care, not punishment.

Hear from advocates, experts, and ACLU leaders about what's coming and how we can push back with real, community-driven solutions around public safety. Your voice will show lawmakers that New Mexicans want compassionate and effective policies, not punitive “tough on crime” measures.
