The 2024 legislative session is just around the corner, and we need young voices now more than ever. Every year we hear legislators say that they want more young voices at the Roundhouse, so this year we are answering that call!
Youth groups from the ACLU of New Mexico and other organizations from across the state will gather at the Roundhouse in Santa Fe for a youth-centered action day. We are hosting a training to prepare our participants for their day of action at the Roundhouse.
Please join us on January 24 at 6 p.m. over Zoom for this training.
During the training, we'll discuss how youth voices can help fight for legislation that protects and expands our rights. We will equip them with tools for being activists in the Roundhouse, connect them with other youth activists, host breakout rooms led by our Youth Organizing Committee members, and discuss what the 2024 Youth Action Day will look like.
