The Southwestern Chapter of the ACLU of New Mexico is continually seeking nominations to its Board of Directors. Candidates must be current ACLU members, reside in either Grant, Luna, Hidalgo, or Catron County, and have access to email. The function of the Southwestern Chapter is to provide oversight within its four-county territory and to educate the public regarding our fundamental civil liberties. Meetings are held on the first Monday of each month, usually in Silver City. To be considered as a candidate or to nominate someone else, contact Martin Miller, Chapter Secretary, at email@example.com.
