The ACLU of New Mexico is seeking applicants for a Summer Policy Intern. This position is hybrid and will require some in-person work in our Albuquerque or Las Cruces office and may involve in-person meetings, community events, and virtual webinars.

The ACLU of New Mexico has offices in Albuquerque, Las Cruces, and Santa Fe and maintains a flexible hybrid work environment to best support the needs of our staff and the work. Most employees work from the office an average of 4-12 hours per week.
The Policy Intern will work to advance our policy agenda across a variety of civil rights and civil liberties issues. The intern may attend internal and external meetings with staff, legislators, and partners, conduct policy research, analyze the impacts of existing local, state, and federal policies, create educational and policy materials, and assist in the preparation of testimony or other advocacy documents ahead of next year’s legislative session.
